Members T. Alan Smith
They lost me with their first sentence: "The first light-weight bass cabinet with no compromise in tone."Pure marketing-speak. Every cabinet is a compromise. While I agree w/you, what do you expect them to say? Actually, I interpret that to mean no compromise in "the Aguilar" tone. Since I like the Aguilar tone, they haven't lost me yet.

Moderators isaac42 Posted December 23, 2010 Moderators Share Posted December 23, 2010 I'm sure they will pull the products off the market as soon as they hear this. Gasp. How dare they! Don't judge gear based on advertising. How else shall I judge them? I don't recall ever seeing any Aguilar product in person.

Members L-1329
Actually, I interpret that to mean no compromise in "the Aguilar" tone. Since I like the Aguilar tone, they haven't lost me yet. I wouldn't even go that far. "Tone" is too generic to use that way, and every amp, even within one manufacturer, is going to be different. Look at the "GB Tone" from their lightweights to their heavyweights. You know there are differences there. I would imagine it no different with Aguilar. Moderators Kindness Posted January 2, 2011 Moderators Share Posted January 2, 2011 I have to agree that these are some fine looking cabs! LOVE the grill cloth and piping. I loved the GS cabs and didn't like the DB cabs as much, but I suspect that these will lean more towards the GS side of the spectrum. I look forward to CP buying them for me to play.
