Members ned911
In the same boat and starting to think coming up with a name is the hardest part of the whole gig.
Members Tedster
The hardest part of coming up with a band name is not getting too silly...which is fun, but counterproductive. You can always call it a name..."The Bob Smith Band"...which is unimaginative, but works. Good thing, there doesn't even have to be a "Bob Smith" in the band. Members BndGrl
You could always try a Band Name Generator. Most of the names they come up with are usually retarded but you never know. This is kind of goofy but there's a font site that I always use but they have some font names that I always thought would make good band names. Yea, I was proud of those. "Canine Greeting Ritual" and "Uhura's Thighs" are my personal favorites. Too bad most of the club patrons in my area are too stupid to "get it".... Members THB
I've named two bands after movies or movie lines, The Usual Suspects and Smilin' Jack Ross, but I always wanted to name a band Backdoor Johnny and the Salty Dogs. So far.....no.

Crusty...I've often wondered what it would be like if people greeted each other by sniffing each other's asses... And Uhura had NICE thighs. That was one of the highlights of watching the old Star Trek series... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/graemlins/thumb.gif This dumb{censored} keeps inserting a ["url"]... Members DonaldDemon
I don't know what is so hard about making band names. My thought is if you can't think of a decent band name then I wouldn't want to hear your lyrics or songwriting. Sorry, that's just my opinion. Here is some that took me no longer than 2 minutes to think of: Savior SelfThe Space HogsThe Phantom Menace (for you Star Wars fans)Citizen CrumbleCryofabThe Harlot ButchersQuicklogThe Funk Module
