Members Timezarrow
I don't think the hard part of band names is thinking of some, but finding one the band can agree on to actually use. But here are some ideas: Cosmic Eddies Bold Garamond (speaking of fonts) Macrogasm Phil Audio For President Gitter, Dunn, & Oberwitt Crimson Shards Vinyl Solution Overhead Compartment Italic Superscript (got me thinking fonts again) The Jack O'Chubbs

Members Josh S
I've always been _really_ partial to "Stainless Steel Korea"... But I think that's pop/rock material, not funk band stuff. If you're in a funk band, it has to be sorta silly- Or you could straight up steal from the Chilis I mean, how about Funky Crime? =)

My bad. you raise a good point though. It is very easy to come up with band names. But it's very difficult to come up with good ones. I'm actually having this problem now. I started an original band and for the life of me I can't think of a good name. Luckily we're not planning on playing out for a while, so I have time. Last band I was in we changed our name every show (mostly because we were just a noise band and didn't care) We usually stuck with Demon Worm or Frank and The Swedish. No one was named Frank in the band either.

Heavy, poppy, maybe somewhat emo-y but without the whiney vocals. I should have some stuff recorded soon.

Members Mr. Botch
Before we moved over here to Harmony Central, we "SSS" folks would always catch an oddball phrase, usually from someone else's post, and say, for instance, "Phlegm Casserole" WBAGNFARB! (the acronym being Would be a good name for a rock band). If you're really bored some week, go to the SSS forum archives at www.musicplayer.com, and use the search function to find every instance of "WBAGNFARB"; if you can't find a band name out of that group, then you should donate your instruments to some charity and sell shoes or something.
