Members Raskolnikovs axe Posted December 19, 2007 Members Share Posted December 19, 2007 we played our first show in a few months on monday night - we're an all original outfit and we took a few months off to record some new material. this was just our warm-up gig before our CD release show, so we didn't promote it very well. 3 of the 5 bands scheduled to play didn't show (touring bands w/van problems accounted for 2 cancellations) so it was a small, informal show mostly just to our friends. still had fun though. we played pretty well, but i'm glad we had this gig to work the kinks out before our big show. we spent a lot of time getting our sound together - taking vocal lessons, dialing our amps to sound good together, reducing our overall stage volume drastically, etc - and this was our first show after all that work. it made everything much more audible for us, and the audience. on to the pics!
