Members pink floyd cramer
I'm proud of my association with country bands, can't say I have encountered any disrespect from any actual musicians for that, esp. blues/R&B players-they understand the fine line between country and R&B. Back in the 90s we were playing in Big Fork, MT with my horn band. In walked Clay Walker and his entire band after finishing a private party at a nearby multimillionaire's ranch. Anyway, we invited him up to sing, and then we turned the stage and our gear over to his whole band. They were classy enough to play his hits that the audience requested but then he had the band play R&B and classic rock to try to fit our format of jazzy blues/R&B. They were GREAT players and nailed some old Skynyrd songs, and some classic Motown stuff. It was a great time.
