Members pezguy Posted December 7, 2004 Members Share Posted December 7, 2004 if you have some Mesa EL-34's it should be pretty much plug and play. It makes the 2:90 a little more squishy sounding. It may appear there are more highs but there is actually a little less low end response. Like I said earlier, I tried it a few years ago for about six months at gigs and in the studio at all volume levels and in the end I prefered the 6L6's. It just had more cutting power.
