Members Ryan Yorck
Hey, does anybody recognize this mixer? Just wondering what kind of reputation EV's BK series mixers had. I was hoping to pick this up for a friend who's just starting out. http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/msg/172106078.html

Members B. Adams
I have a BK1642, which I rarely use, but it's a decent board for what it is. Long faders, decent EQ, inserts on every channel, but only enough aux's for 2 monitor mixes and 1 FX. It's a pretty simple mixer, but if its features suit your needs, that's a great price. Members agedhorse
They were ok, but no longer supported. I probably have a bunch of the common parts in stock, but anything custom to the unit is pretty much unavailable.
Members Marko
LOL.. I'm kinda drunk right now (no gig tonight, took the ol'lady to a comedy club, and now sitting in my basement/music room shaking the neighbors windows), so I'm going to say what I'm thinking. This agedhorse guy is a trip. I never see him on the list at the top where he's browsing the room... he just blows through like the wind. Is there anything this man doesn't know?! I think he's an angel or something... lol.
