Members GigMan
I wonder if anyone has compared the two Yorkville powered subs to eachother: LS700P http://yorkville.com/products.asp?cat=2&type=29&id=240 NX720S http://yorkville.com/products.asp?type=29&cat=22&id=365 I rented an LS700P for a DJ gig once (though I'm kybd. player, occasionally I go to the "dark side" of the dj world ) - the LS700P is a nice little unit, at 91 lbs. it's very lightweight and compact. Two 10" speakers in it. But the NX720S looks interesting too - roughly same power and is a bit lighter at 73 lbs. The 720 has XLR jacks, which is nice. Only one 15" speaker though. Anyone? Beuller? Anyone?
Members Al Poulin
I`m not even sure the NX720P is available yet. It is extremely new.. I doubt anyone has had a chance to try some out...I`m guessing the 720 will have more output in the 40-70 hz range because of the bigger woofer while the LS700P may be a little louder overall but have most output in the 70-100 hz range. Just a guess though... Two good things about the NX720P is it's lighter weight and the fact that they will look nice paired up to NX series cabs. Al Poulin - Party-time!
