Members Special J
Redbassman, that's an unfortunately common misconception brought on by poor marketing. At the end of 2005, we were forced with a difficult decision. Officially, we merged with an AV provider, and are now Snow Sound Pro Audio services by HB Group, Inc. I thankfully have no part in ownership, and the previous owner is thankful that he doesn't either. He now gets to do what he really loves, sound, instead of running the company. I now get a lot of the headaches that he used to put up with, but at least I'm not fiscally responsible for it all. We pretty much do the same things we always did (minus touring with Phish), only we have a lot more resources at our disposal, including the ability to do projection, broadcasting and web streaming. I'm not surprised that you have some of our old gear. After more than 30 years, there's a lot of stuff with Snow Sound silkscreened on it out there. Members agedhorse
IIRC, Snow came through with a Phish date about 10 years ago at our venue.

Nice, hopefully they didn't stink the place up too badly. Do you remember if it sounded good?

Members philw44
Personally i think you are better going passive for monitors. I've seen too many accidents with pints being spilt on them or Xlr's and PSU's being ripped out.
