To decide that they now want to retroactively regulate it by making illegal or non-functional all of these products is criminal. In the legal system, it's called a non-conforming use and when it happens unenforced for an extended period these non-conforming uses become conforming. PAMA is as guilty as the manufacturers they represent... in fact they share the same bed and sleep with the same folks so why would we expect anything different? Fox watching the hen house.
