Members Al Poulin
Move over MKI and MKII - here comes the Art 3 series MKIII. Slight change in appearance, new digital amplifiers (just like Art 4 series) and Eq settings on the back with 1/4'' capability. All ceramic drivers (although it is unclear if they changed the woofer in the 310A MKIII - since I see 2'' VC in one place and the old 2.5'' voice coil in the other...) Frequency response is still incorrect, actually indicating down to 45 hz on the 315A when the damn box goes down QUICKLY below 90hz and is about 20DBs down at 45 . Anyway, here is a link to the 312A MKIII : http://www.rcf.it/en_US/products/pro-speaker-systems/art-series/art-312-a-mk-iii Kind of leaves you wondering why RCF created the 4 series which is essentially the same as these new MKIII 3 series cabs - except for the actual cabs/looks. Wonder what the pricing will be Al
Members Al Poulin
A funny bit of info while reading the NEW manual for the 7 series MKII : "All the transducers in the Art 7 Series speakers feature ferrite magnets in order to guarantee a better performance and make for easier transportation." Really... I guess it's better than "Due to the rising prices of neodymium, we have opted to use the more cost effective and heavier ferrite magnets in our premium series of powered cabs. Pricing will remain the same in consideration for our clients who are easily upset by price variations..." Al
