Members pogo97
No guarantees, but my boom mic used to droop and I fixed it by taking out the rubber in the joint and lightly sanding it to take the hardened outer layer off. Not so sure if it's a brand new item.
Members Walldude
Not to change the subject but if you don't mind.. changing the subject You have a TC Helicon Mic? How do you like it? I'm putting together a small rig to try and play out with. I already have the TC Helicon Harmony G which I love and a Bose L1, I'm using an SM58 right now but after I saw your post I went and looked and the TC mic has some control of the Harmony G on it. I'm thinking it might be a good investment.. My 58 sounds fine and you can hammer nails with it and it will still work, but if the TC mic sounds better I'll look at switching.. Thanks! Members Drummer44
I duct tapped a piece of lead to the end of my last cheap boom and it looked awful, I was hoping, having purchased what I thought was a decent one those days where over. I will look at "jamming it" or perhaps purchase a lighter mike. Black tape? -D44
