Members theManfromAlabam
Hello everyone, An old friend is selling some effects and pickups, one of the effects is an old rack mount Chandler tube drive, the one with the internal transformer and bias control. He still has the original box and manual, this is supposedly the good one. Anyway, is $150 to much or to little to offer him?
Phil O'Keefe
I have no idea what the going rate is for them, but if I had a friend who was trying to sell one for $150, I'd be all over it. Those are cool preamps. PS I looked on ebay and the Chandler Tube Driver racks seem to go anywhere from $160 to about $200. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sop=1&_nkw=chandler+tube+driver+rack

Phil O'Keefe
I think you'll dig it. One of the best guitar sounds I've ever played / heard was an old 60s era Ampeg Reverberocket with a Chandler rack Tube Driver slamming the front end. Simply gorgeous!
