It kind of reminds me of this funky hybrid one of the guys from the Fender Custom Shop loaned me for a while a few years ago... it was kind of a Strat / Jag hybrid with different pickups. It was a surprisingly interesting and cool guitar - Steve Miller (to whom it had been loaned to prior to me) had nicknamed it the "Bulldog", and it was somehow fitting. It was a tough little guitar.
