Members Freeman Keller
For a belated birthday gift my daughter took my son, wife, grand daughter and me to a Leo Kottke concert in Portland. Its been five or so years since I last saw Leo - his voice might be starting to show his age but his playing (and humor) sure isn't. He played some of the real oldies - Fisherman, Machine Gun, Rings.... and finished the gig with Pamela Brown. If you've never seen Leo, do so. If you have, you'll understand why I keep going back. Members sdelsolray
Leo Kottke will stand the test of time, certainly beyond our years. He will be remembered along with Weiss, Sor, Tarrega, Villa Lobos and Hedges.

Well, I'm sure that he is older than I am and I doubt that I'll be pickin' too many more years.....
Members riffmeister lives
I saw Leo for the first time in 1979. He was great and his stories were very, very quirky. Finally, after about a 30 year hiatus, I saw him again a couple years ago. Phenomenal, simply phenomenal guitar playing! Less quirky stories this time, a few more belly laughs. I reckon him to be a national treasure!
