Members Vito Corleone
I'm looking to replace a couple of wireless systems I use primarily for speeches. I'm looking at the dual system BLX1288. GC is selling it right now for $549 with the M15 lav mic transmitter and a PG58 handheld mic. I know the PG58 is a lower-end mic, but I'm hoping that it will be sufficient for giving speeches. Or is the difference as much about wireless performance as it is sound quality when compared to the SM58 wirelesses?I'm also presuming that if I buy a unit that matches the frequency range of another SM58 wireless mic I have, that that mic will work with it also.Of course, I can always buy the receiver and transmitters separately. So, most importantly, how good/reliable are these receivers?
Members agedhorse
I would look at something higher up the food chain... You have seen my recommendations which go hand in hand with mine on this.
