Members Chrisjd
This was the last new 5150 II in my state that I could find. I bought this in may of 2005 I believe. There is not one nick, ding, dent scratch, scuff or anything on this head. Reason being is obvious. these are not made anymore and I really wanted to keep it in PRISTINE condition. I love this head, I really do.. I had the amp biased to 33ma, put in JJ power tubes (5 months old) and Tung sol Preamp tubes. The result is an incredibly thick mid-range grind with a very punctuated and defined tone when riffing. the amp is about as tight as my cobra, if that tells you anything. while the tubes arent brand new, I have mostly been playing my cobra lately so they are still very fresh. Amp is MINT, with footswitch, and works 100% as it should. You don't see too many of these anymore that are in this good of condition. Looking for other high gain amps to trade for and will add cash if necessary.
