Born In The USA synth

Okay folks, I hope this is an easy question because Google and Search didn't yield the answer, but what was the synth used in Bruce Springsteen's Born In The USA?

They were playing that on the radio and that keyboard riff plays throughout the song... so damn catchy.

For some reason I kind of got the feeling the DJ didn't realize that the song isn't exactly a patriotic one.. :freak:

The K250 was a rompler...(one of the first).

It definitely has an FM sound to it. Kind of like an edited version of the DX7 PERC SYNTH 2 (#3A on the ROM4 cartridge).

Eric you are correct. I have that issue still and was reading it the other day. Now he uses Kurzwiel gear, Yamaha Grand and a Korg M-1.
