Mark Wein Posted October 13, 2007 Author Posted October 13, 2007 LOL - obviously there was! Worse is some people buy into it... Well, as silly as it sounds to those of us that teach, how often do you get a student in who just wants a "magic bullet" that will have them sounding like SRV or Steve Vai or Joe Pass in no time? Many people who don't play music or are just starting out don't have any idea of the time and discipline that it takes to even become merely competent on the instrument. Unfortunately, there will always be the "under informed" who will pay for stuff like this at least once....

Same type of thing, one scale pattern and a bunch of numeric offsets from the root to use that one pattern over any mode. The price seems to have gone down a bit . . cheers,
Members Virgman Posted October 14, 2007 Members Posted October 14, 2007 You can play all the modes from any position in the major scale. So he's not lying. He's marketing.
