I'm not sticking up for emo or anything but it just seems like people use it too liberally nowadays.

 

 

yeah its dead. Its thrown around way too liberally. Emo is more towards hardcore.

Is that Collin O'burst guy considered emo? Because I've not heard any of his stuff, but what his picture looks like is what I think of when I think of "modern" emo music.

If you consider emo as i hate myself i'm going to slit my wrists. no i don't think conor oberst is. If you define emo as emotional, then yes he is quite emo. That's what makes his music good. Emotion.
