Members zinzin
saw an italo spaghetti western movie yesterday and it reminded me of how great the guitars are in the soundtrack. who played on "once upon a time" from ennio morricone the guitar? for "the good, the bad and the ugly" it seems obvious to use lotsa reverb, but what else? tele and fender amps? and what about that fuzzy tone on "harmonica/man with a harmonica"? was that naturally amp "overfuzz"? amazing! Members Wyatt
It is really just surf guitar set in a slow tempo, orchestral setting. Any good surf setup will work, like everyone points out: reverb, maybe a little amp trem, and a healthy dose of hand trem. Single-coils, clean Fender-esque amp. -Y. Members El Glom-o
zinzin - If you like that sound, check out "Lonely Apache" on Los Straitjackets' "!Viva! Los Straitjackets". Also, very cool Brian Jones avatar. That "Jumpin' Jack Flash" video is the only time I've seen him playing a Telecaster.
