Members J.R.1
Picked up one of these today from a friend for 25 bucks. It works great, but upon a bit of research it appears this pedal may be worth more than 25 bucks. Serial number is 447226, and it was made in Japan, it has 5 knobs labeled "Level", "Edge", Attack","Drive" and "Punch". It has Ibanez SM9 Super Metal stamped on top. Any info would be appreciated. Thanx.

Members Sir H C
Distortion pedal with 3 band EQ with those annoying names. Otherwise a great sounding pedal.
Members Cruachan
Yeah, as the others said, a great 80s metal type pedal. Quite dynamic though, can do much more than just Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.
Members Speeddemon
if it's in crappy shape, than $60-80 would be the going price,if it's mint, it's easily worth $125. And yes, one of the best solidstate hard-rock distortions I've heard and own. It's kinda like Ritchie Blackmore on steroids, a very vocal mid-range with a certain je-ne-sais-qois-rawness, without sounding brittle or harsh. Members MrSage
I sold mine for about $100. It was a little rusty, but had the box and manual.
Members confused
I had one in the 80's sold it for peanuts in the early 90's. Pretty good crunch from what I remember
Members J.R.1
Put it on E-Bay for a "Buy it now" price of $150.00, and it sold within 15 minutes. Time to buy some more "Stuff" now, much to wifes chagrin! :D
