I think everyone in the world has full sets of 88-93. Have you seen the prices on those sets? I think a full set of 88 Donruss is about $9.

Hi

"I would like to ship this regular postage with delivery confirmation."

is this anything fragile perishable, blah blah blah

"Nope."

I can overnight this for you, it will arrive at their door tomorrow afternoon for only thirty-something dollars..

"No thanks, regular postage will be fine."

Would you like insurance on the package?

"No, I just want delivery confirmation."

For a mere $2.53 you can send this priority mail and it will be insured up to $100 and arrive in no later than 4 days..opposed to regular postage taking a full week.

"No thank you. Regular Postage will be fine."

Would like to buy any stamps, envelopes, etc?

"No"

(pointing to some display) we are offering these MLK stamps for only $$$$

"No thanks"

Ok...well your total is $$$$

+1

I've been using that trick since highschool. It's a great avoidance measure. Never leave home without the headphones.

i don't care but they are the slowest mother {censored}ers i have ever seen!!! I'm not talking just locally, i mean in South Carolina, in Florida, Michigan, Illinois, Hawaii etc. every place i've lived i've noticed these {censored}tards (lol) are like snails behind the counter. Its like they do it on purpose, or they all take a couple tabs of vicodin before work

If you go to UPS or fedex you get through the line very quick even with a dozen people in front of you. if you roll up to a USPS office and there are a dozen people come back later otherwise get ready for a 30 minute wait at least

Sorry i just shipped something USPS today
cause i forgot how slow they are and NEVER again:freak:

I used to work the window. The reason for so many upsell attemps if that the USPS needs the money and the $$$ comes in through the window. The management puts the pressure on the window clerks. There's no commision involved, it's all union contracted. Yeah the lines can be long and slow sometimes, but I have to drive a good 15 miles to send a package UPS, and at 3 bucks a gallon, a five minute trip to my local post office is worth the wait.
