Very usefull skill to know! I started like that and suddenly I was sitting there soldering tight 25 pins D-sub connectors. Soldering and listening to the radio. Contemplating. I like it. Members ollenorin Posted May 26, 2006 Author Members Share Posted May 26, 2006 yeah i made some baby mistakes in the beginning like forgetting to put the protectionshield on BEFORE soldering the cable to the plug....i did that mistake TWICE.... but the last 2 cables went faster.... im making perhaps 20 with right angles in diff lenghts....and then 10 straight/angled....then im gonna make about 5 long guitarcables and then save the rest of the plugs for later. What kind of connectors and cables do you use? the cable i was doing went from 30 cm to 15 cm after my classic mistakes. im using GH right angled and Neutrik 2PCs or something right angled....also ive got about 40 straight connectors in GH and Neutrik...
