I`d bring in some of the old folks to do a few songs

A wake up one about the bare facts
(the first song)

And my last goodbye

Oh, it was just one possibility.

I could go with your choice too. Or Palestrina.

But no pop or rock for me.

Maybe with an exception from Germany

Btw
I believe Rod Stewart`s "I`m sailing" or any similar idea coming out of a playback system in the church while the priest and family look at a coffin is a sign of a civilization down on its knees.

Though on the knees in the wrong sense. ;)

I'd have 3 songs definitely play....and all of them solely because they make me personally cry almost every time I hear them.

Tom Waits - On the Nickel

Sticks and stone will break my bones, that always will be true. When your mother's dead and gone I'll sing this lullaby just for you

The Beatles - Rocky Racoon

Just a really pretty song that was a lullaby for me for a long long time when I was a baby. Makes me think of better times in life and then also reminds me how sad things can get, too.

Burning Airlines - The Escape Engine

Make the ending as good as the show.
Burn as you go

Those would make me happy to look down(or more likely up) to see at my funeral.

Comfortably Numb (live version)

followed by the entire Dark Side Of The Moon album

(with the Wizard Of Oz playing on video at the same time)

then as they lower me down and start tossing the dirt

Frank Marino's version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"
