Members Eye_Of_The_Liger
Can't imagine how one would go about making a BM better... aside from just making it even less noisy, not that it's really noisy to begin with....
Members fiveway switch
there was a guy on ebay doing mods for the BM . im pretty sure that the BM has a surface mount PCB meaning thats its a bitch to do mods on:cry:
Members IRG
Go to ztonemods.com. Email the guy - i've been asking about several mods and he can do something to the BM. FWIW he likes the DOD YJM308 better, and does some mods to that one too.

Members fusionid
what would you do to it? I always thought it was a pretty good pedal as it is. Regardless it is also the only pedal Ive never opened that I owned. My understanding is that it has surface mounted components, making radical modding impossible. Members mr.thizzle
Humphrey audio has an ebay store that turns those bad monkeys into Badder Monkeys. I've haven't heard them in person but have read good reviews. I'm thinking about getting one.
Members mark7171
the mt2 sustainiac should be considered here. the bad monkey is out of its league.
Members mikeldtl
The BM would be a bitch to mod. From what I understand it's basically a Tube Screamer with an active EQ, so most TS mods would apply. Read this thread on the DIYstompboxes forum.http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=56423.0Adding another circuit board to accommodate the RC4558 IC would be a bitch. It would be cool to have a modded BM but hardly worth the effort....
Members TheGrooveking
I have the Humphreys Audio MT2 SLO-Diezel 2 mod and it greatly improves the pedal. So if their mod for the Bad Monkey does equal justice I say go for it. TheGrooveking
Members Ramblin390
why mod a 40 dollar pedal, its a good cheap pedal, if you want to dump your money, buy a better pedal.

Members SJB
Does the Humphrey Mod add more gain? The product reviews hardly sound like a mod was done. Can't find a website for Humphrey's either....
