Members Jonny_Q
I saw one on ebay for a BIN price I could afford - so I snatched it No legs, but it comes with a sustain pedal. It'll sit on top of my Hammond M3 I AM SO PUMPED
Members eric
Congrats! The 200A is a great EP. You may need some mods to get the sustain pedal working if you perch it up on the M3 and also to have access to the 1/4" output that is on the bottom side of the Wurly. Enjoy! Members DylanWilde
I just played one in a local music store the other day, it was very cool. I lusted after it greatly, but was sad to hear he had recently sold it for 500 bucks - which seemed like a steal to me considering how much they seem to go for normally. Members TimmyP
They can be a bitch to tune, but they hold pitch very well. You may be able to find a set of legs on eBay. If not, a machine shop, welding shop, or blacksmith (yes, they still exist) can likely make a set.
Members Jonny_Q
I think I'm going to get the video "wurlitzer EP restoration and repair" from vintage vibe - I watched clips and it looks like a good resource to learn how to work on the wurlie. I'm slowly becoming less tech-depedant with my gear, which is the whole reason I bought vintage gear (to learn myself, and the fact that older stuff is easier to work on, like cars!) Members Outkaster
Very cool. You should be able to get parts on E-bay no prob. I have seen them for Rhodes and Clavinets also.
Members Jonny_Q
You guys ever seen anybody play a Wurlie on a X-stand? $40 vs $209 (at least from speakeasy) for a X-stand vs chrome legs. At this point I'm unsure if its worth it to complete the original look, or to just have an X-stand (like my buddy has with his rhodes). Heresy, mabye? You don't have to use an X-stand if you don't want to -- there are other styles of stands out there, you know. Go to Home Depot and grab some chrome legs + flanges for $40 -- or wooden legs, or whatever you want. The Speakeasy legs aren't original Wurlitzer legs, either -- and you can be sure they don't cost them anywhere near $50 to buy/treat.
Members cl516
Hello all, I also just picked up a 200A locally! mine is in tune, top octave is a little bit quiet, power cord was replaced by repair dude so now it takes standard IEC cable. speakers rattle a bit, signal going into the amp sounds wonderful. incredibly incredibly dirty, one dead ladybug underneath the keys, the red on it no longer red but a very sad murky brown. Members Hulston Prickle
Suh-weet! I've never played a real Wurlitzer, but it's my favorite EP sound.
Members mate_stubb
X Stands are the lamest stand idea ever inflicted on keyboards. Not only are they not sturdy, they look totally dorky. I don't particularly want to look like I have an ironing board onstage.

I don't particularly want to look like I have an ironing board onstage. Kinda how I feel, but I wanted to see if it was just me They have some Z stands that look ok. I think I might just get the wooden legs for it ($89) as the Home Depot specials apparently are not very stable (going by what I read in the wurlitzer yahoo group). Z stand for $49, or wooden legs for $89. Decisions, decisions. And yes, I looked on ebay, and there aren't any legs.
Members mate_stubb
You just bought a CLASSIC WURLITZER. It is now your duty to care for it and be its custodian for the next generation. Quibble ye not over $40. Do the right thing!

Members nos
I have a stand that works great. Designed for heavier boards. Let's see if I can find a pic... There you go. $60 from Musicians Friend. Looks half-way decent at least. Use that while you save up for the real legs, then use it for that 88-key controller. (I never finished saving up for the real legs.)

Members ClavAnother
Yeah I was looking at that stand actually. So there isn't any problem height-wise? That one mentioned above looks to be height adjustable, and if the 1/4" jack don't line up with those holes you could drill it out. Speaking of which, if you put it on an M3, I would consider some rubber feet with a screw thread in it to fit in the leg flanges so that you could raise the piano an inch or two and have access to the 1/4" output jack (with a right-angle cable). I use these (quick-lock ws-550) for anything from a Rhodes to a prophet 10. will work for a wurli too:
