Members SirFrancisBacon
While I don't expect great things, I have to ask if anyone's tried this: I'm a complete sucker for tweed.
Members GCDEF
I tried one in a music store. Wasn't bad. I have a SuperSonic amp that supposedly is based on the 66 Bassman, and the pedal got a similar type of breakup. I didn't get a chance to give it a really good workout, but it seemed like a good smooth OD pedal. Certainly gets in bassman territory. Not a high gain pedal by any means, but it's not selling itself as one either.
Members SirFrancisBacon
Thanks. I'm curious about using one as a kind of pre-gain in front of my Maxon OD-808. I haven't gotten to a shop to try one out yet, though.
Members T Stre
When my local shop got all those new Boss pedals in a while back, I happened to be in there....this one was ok. I thought the Deluxe Reverb one sounded better...but none were great.
Members bloolight
The whole concept seems silly to me. If you want modeling, I'd just get a POD. It does the Bassman sound along with about thirty others...better bang for your buck imo.
Members Urinate Forever
sucks, it was boring as hell. not worth 150 bucks or whatever at all. the only good new pedal by boss is the dyna comp, and maybe the metalcore if you twiddled with it for awhile. The Dynacomp I know is an old pedal by MXR. Are you being facetious, or are you referring to something else? c

Members 1DZReverendDavidLee
You nailed it. I have nothing to add I lied. What I also wanted to add is that I also have the Supersonic amp and I bought this pedal along with the Fender Deluxe Reverb pedal. Out of the two - the Bassman pedal is definitely my favorite !
