I've not observed this to be the case. It's a good thing, because most of the guys with big post counts aren't actually the most knowledgeable (myself included). The guys who really know spend their time gigging and doing DIY projects. And, sad because I've actually spent enough time here on HC to accumulate 3000 posts. Your right on this one.
