Members dap99
Never played it, but I was interested in it a few years ago so I read a lot on it and overall, the reviews weren't that positive so I passed on it.
Members eclipseall
I like the Vtwin. Its the boogie sound ina pedal. Its bassy but it has tons of balls. Running an Eq after it will shape the sound to your liking. It will do anything from great clean sound, great blues and rock sound to high gain metal distortion like Load/Reload Metallica albums. That sound is well done by the VTwin. If yoiu want more or less gain then you can replace the tubes to your liking. Your not gonna get anything close to a Marshall sound with this pedal. Boogie all the way.

Members Karma1
Most people think of it as a distortion pedal, but it does wonders for clean sounds, which is mostly what I use it for, either live or in the studio. I don't care for the distortion (red) setting, but I do sometimes use the overdrive (blue) as kind of a Tube Screamer to push a distorted amp or pedal.
