Pretty much on par with The Matrix, but it was a book first making it infinitely better.

 

 

Oh man come on. The Matrix? That was comic book come to life with Ted Theodore Logan of all people. Fight Club is much better than that, in book or movie form. The only point of the entire thing is to not take yourself so seriously. It's philisophical in that it's anti-philisophical. It's just saying burn everything to the ground and start from scratch because it's easier that way. I suppose if you didn't get it you might think of it as pseudo philisophical. But between Paulynuk and Fincher there has to be something you can appreciate there. Both are masters of their craft.
