Members Noise...
I would but they're a bit higher. But oh so worth it. I play full scale bass, and that will most definitely be my next bass.
Members PurpleStrat
I would but they're a bit higher. Try to grab a Fender P-Bass Jr. off Ebay. They are very high quality and still cheaper and smaller then the Mustang.

Phil O'Keefe
Mustang basses are cool - but also about 3X the price of the Rogue. But I wouldn't mind having one myself.

Did it need any work?I've been looking at maybe getting one as a cheap Mustang.
Members TweedBassman
+ juan on the mustang RI. solid, sweet sounding bass. they can pop up on ebay fairly cheap, in the $400 range if you look closely. another option is an old musicmaster from the 70's, they go under $400 all day. Members BmoreTele
Before I bought my Schecter Hellcat VI, I was checking out short scale basses. If you're on a tight budget, the ones I'd suggest would be the the Ibanez GSRM20 or GAXB150. Broncos are just too limited in tone for me.
Members missfortune
I have a Squier Bronco that sounds and plays just fine. The plastic nut needs to be replaced, but the tuners and pickup are surprisingly good. The neck is straight and feels good to me. I think it's a very good option for having a bass around, and given Rodeo's preference for short-scale, it might be worth looking into.
