Members avapxia
Basically use humbuckers, and roll the tone knob back on your guitar to like 3 or 4. That's the basic sound you seem to be going for.

Members TheGareth
Use the neck pickup and don't use too much treble. Lots of mids and bass and just enough treble to keep it from getting too muddy.
Members Loobster
Why do you want blues tone. You should be going for an alternative rock/Jonny Greenwood esque sound.

Members rdm
He's been using the Keeley MT-2 Metal Zone. I think he plays it with the mids scooped just a bit and with the toggle switch in the right-hand position.
Members gtrwiz
You're all wrong on the amp, he's used Lab Series L5 amps forever. He said in an interview that when he does one off shows with backline, if he can't get an L5 he'll request an old Twin. http://www.diyguitarist.com/GuitarAmps/LabSeriesL5.htm

Members sethlover
B.B.'s tone is all in his fingers. He's used a bunch of amps over the years and even a bunch of guitars (early years). If you listen to the really old stuff to the new it's all B.B.. He could pick up a 7 string Ibanez run through a Krank and sound like B.B.. Members timmyo
You track down the long-discontinued Lab Systems amps he plays - they are a HUGE part of the sound he's been getting for many many years now. Yes he's instantly recognisable whatever he plays, but if you've heard anyone play BB-ish licks on a Lab Systems amp, you know it's a major component of the actual tone he's been using live for some time. I think I've seen one on eBay once ever, and one other in Denmark St in London many moons ago (when I heard it)
