Members ryanwekwert
I have an effects loop and I don't use it. I just go from my amp. Sounds really good. I don't bother with running it different.

I don't bother with running it different. There is no law that says one must... There are guys that find out doing things another way yields better results and wonder why they didn't apply that sooner though. Just a thought It's much better to KNOW then to think you know and later find out you were wrong, because you didn't know {censored}. Not you specifically, just a generalization... Members deluxe74
Wow, I come back a day later and see this huge discussion... very nice! I think my best bet is to put the reverb in front of the amp (last in the pedal chain, if that means the same thing) and that should be just fine. Members Meriphew
Unless your amp is your main mode of distortion, then verb in front of your amp will sound good. I think most people are using dirt/distro pedals in front of their amps, rather than cranking the amp to 10. I run guit > fx > verb > AC30/Bad Cat/Mesa Blue Angel and it sounds great. Members chisa
Sometimes that works well... Truth, you can't polish a turd you can if it's varnished
