Members MattACaster
Looking for a delay pedal with tap tempo. What will give me the best bang for my buck? The cheaper the better but I would like to keep it under $250.

Members IvIark
DLS EchoTap. Excellent sounding, no digital conversion of your dry signal and you can switch between the tapped time and second preset time that you set with a multi position switch. Members ThudMuffin
I think GC has the EHX smm/h for 220 or something. I had a dd-7 for 1 day, then ponied up the extra $ for the EHX. Tap tempo functions on boss just seem :/ to me. Plus the reverse delay (if that's yer bag) is much quicker reacting on the EHX.
Members the_bleeding
memory man with hazarai. DUH the tap tempo is much easier to use than any boss pedal. And you can use it on any of the different modes, unlike the boss's where you have to set them to tap tempo

Members the_bleeding
also want to add. That stereo memory man with hazarai has some tone and decay shaping options, which lets you get the feel of an analogue or digital delay. The boss delays are always hard and digital in feel, and dont have any cool decay options.
Members nimbuscrenel
if you want to go super cheap try a used Digidelay!

Members delay dude
Dl-4DD-20Nova DelayEcho ParkDD-5DD-6DD-7DL-8 I know that you already found your answer (memory man) but I want to add that I think the DD-6 is not so good for tab. You have to hold the switch for 2 seconds before you can tab. never mind. The Memory Man is awesome!

Members musikerochan
Behringer DD100 on the cheap. Tap tempo too. beware of falling jacks though, esp. if it sits last in the chain.
