Members Fender&EHX4ever
Any of you guys have any experience with this amp? From reviews I've read, it's loud as hell, great with cleans, flexible with EQ; but forget about trying to overdrive the tubes, or using the onboard distortion. http://www.ampwares.com/amp.asp?id=

Members Fender&EHX4ever
They're still 2x12. But yeah it's probably ridiculously loud.

Members Bobby D
180 watts of super clean brittleness:eek::eek: ted used SIX of them in a semicircle with six matching 4x12 fender cabs when i saw him back in the day.
Members Fender&EHX4ever
Isn't that ALL Fender 60watts and above amps? I don't know. I have a vintage Vibroverb (35watts) and a vintage Vibro Champ. Great amps, but I wouldn't mind having a loud amp for cleans. I wonder if the Super Twin will make me happy. I've never been a Nugent fan, so that should probably tell me something if he's the only guitarist who ever popularized the Super Twin.

Guest Guest
Isn't that ALL Fender 60watts and above amps? Not by a long shot. Had my silverface non-master volume twin modded to blackface specs, some bluesy grind on chords past 5. And I would buy that twin for $300. I had a '94-style twin for a while - outrageously loud/clean. Was fun.

Members Fender&EHX4ever
no reverb right? Right, no reverb. No sweat for me though. I already have a Vibroverb, and enough reverb pedals to get lost in space forever.
Members tattoedsailor
We had one those back in day in Jazz band room at my old High school. Holy sh$t Man it was heavy amp. We dropped that thing down more flight of stairs. It never broke. In fact i bet there still using it. I remember running an old Boss MZ 2 through it with BC Rich guitar. The kinda tone that makes your ears bleed. Man that amp was so loud.
