I agree. "Land Of Pure Imagination" is great, and it's odd that it took him that long to put it out, but i'm guessing that (based on the very small label it was released on), him and fellow Jellyfish cohorts Jason Falkner (who's had trouble finding even small labels to release his stuff) and Sturmer, that true genius unfortunately isn't really that much in demand or recognized by other than a small audience.

 

"Spilt Milk" is still in my top albums of all time. I love how absolutely over the top it is in being right between an old ELO album, some Beatles stuff, and Queen. The budgets on that album must have been insane. The time it must have taken to do that, based on the overdubs and all the edits and perfectionism must have just been unreal--the photos of the liners (gongs, harpsichords, various pianos, amps, etc) are awesome.
