Members dgc480
Hey, so I've been using my morley bad horsie wah for a long time. However, in a band application, I notice that when I use it on my clean channel I get WAY too loud, and it sounds harsh and piercing. However, I almost always use wah on clean because we're a funk band, so I have to turn my clean way down to compensate. That causes problems though if I want to use clean without wah, because then you can't hear it. Is this an issue with all wah pedals? What if I put the wah in my effects loop? Thanks
Members bowlingshirt
Level problem + "sounds harsh and piercing" = time for a new wah. In a pinch, you could always try turning down that volume knob thing on your guitar when you engage the wah.
Members IamBurnout
I'm a fan of Morley wahs, but they suck at funk. Morley's circuit is more of an LPF, than the standard BPF wah. A crybaby variant would probably be more suitable.

Members claytonjohn18
Buy a q-tron and ditch the wah? It's annoying to watch guys stand over a wah pedal for the whole set. . .
