Members warioblast
I have listened to it a 4 or 5 times. I like it though it pretty much stayed in the vein of their 1st album. I maybe hear more Black Sabbath influences, the 1st one was more "zeppelinian" to my ears. Oh and there is a heavy use of the whammy and other harmonized FXs. Members KoskineN
I like it so far. I listened to it 2 or 3 times now. Of course it's still in the vein of their 1st album, but there is way more layers of guitars. The singing is much better IMO too. I think they didn't failed with the second album. Members Stratmaster458
I have only heard Back Round and New Moon Rising. from those two tracks I have to say I am looking forward to picking up the new album when it is released in the US I think they sound more Stoner Rock like and I like that. The other guys barely get any screentime at all. Also Wolfmother FTL, one of the worst aussie bands around gets massive....
Members tonedover
the group toured under a new name for half a year, but i think he finally gave into the pressure and went back to the wolfmother name at least he tried i guess.... Members WorkingClassDan
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the new album (as in, I want to hate them). The lyrics are laughable in places but it's still a thrill.A bit like listening to the new Muse album; they know it's ludicrous but they go there and it's hilarious but rockin'.Seeing them with ac/dc in FEB. They should get a bass player and a Organ Player, maybe not even another Guitarist....
