Members FlyingZ Posted November 22, 2009 Members Share Posted November 22, 2009 I don't get too crazy I've played most and the CH-1 chorus has lasted on the live pedalboard for 15 years. It can sound good with chords and single notes, which is very rare, and can close enough resemble many other types of modulation effects. I upgraded the caps to film which eliminated the high freq clipping during distorted solos typical of all modulation effects, true bypassed, and added a trimmer to balance the volume increase with effect level, also typical. I recently purchased the Danelectro CV-1 Vibe and immediately had to add a trimmer for unity. Sounds OK but sadly it will not make the pedalboard because the of cheap SMD caps. Don't know what that means other than its a good chip.
