Members celoedus
You can keep "the good old days", this old fart is having a great time...hahhaha totally agree, you guys that buy into that 'vintage' bs can have all of it.. especially in the effects department and those aged/road worn guitars lol what a joke! seriously, what is the asthetic of having a guitar look like that especially since you've had no personal contribution in getting it there (by actually PLAYING it?). The pick rashes, the faded finish from sweating/peeing/dropping in a vat of acid, nicks and bumps, the one gig where some chick kissed your guitar and left the makeup smudge on it.. it's what makes that guitar MINE modern products are modern? Phil O'Keefe
No, I honestly believe he is genuinely of the opinions he's arguing. As do I - I really don't think he was trolling, and frankly it's an excellent topic for a thread.
Members Ned Flanders
go play a 70's gibson firebird, then go into a guitar center and pick one up and play it and let me know Yeah, because Norlin-era Gibsons have a GREAT reputation.
