Members Fender&EHX4ever
... everything needs more Indeed, there seems to be a drought these days of and great songwriting It's like all the great songwriters are super-chill, and all the rockers have gone metal or pseudo-punk. Where's the great middle ground?

Where's the great middle ground? Yeah, I think you are right... probably why I don't buy much these days. It's either way too mellow or just a load of noise, my mate was playing me some bands the other week, all sounded pretty good musically but the vocals were way too shouty for me, not enough melody. Members Jaron
the broken social scene is far from the best on that album, anyone who digs it should check out water in hell and art house director. love those tracks

But I dig it still.

Members penelope twee
http://lstn.urbanoutfitters.com/11/ What is song by The Clientele? They actually seem to be bigger in America than the UK. .The Violet Hour is a great album. I also really like 'Reflections After Jane'. Members Fender&EHX4ever
The song is called "Jerry." I'll give it another listen today. I haven't spent much time yet with that sampler because I've been focused on Arcade Fire's The Suburbs.

Members Fender&EHX4ever
The latest Urban Outfitters LSTN mix is pretty good http://lstn.urbanoutfitters.com/13/ I really dig the Unknown Mortal Orchestra song, and the Austra track. I found the J. Mascis tune a bit disappointing, but maybe it'll grow on me.
Members MadMax808
I always dig these samplers. Sometimes they're hit-or-miss as a whole, but there's always a few solid tracks.
