Members Qwave Posted June 4, 2008 Members Share Posted June 4, 2008 Indeed, the best bang for the money ratio for this little synth.Mine is sitting on my desk for more then 7 months.Be sure not to judge it only by its factory sounds. Most of the sounds do not use the new blofeld features. The developing was faster then the sound designer could keep up with the new things added.The filter distortion, the Q's PPG filter and the 66 wavetables combined with the microQ possibilities are a good starting point for sond not heard on a Waldorf before.A tiny bit of distortion (try pickup curve 1) added on the PPG filter sounds way more analogue then DSP Waldorfs before. I called the store, and they put me on the second delivery list, due 1 July..
