Can't you find suitable pieces of regular vinyls that will work? I work at a outdoor furn mfg and we have some outdoor patterned Textelene & Acrylics that I'm going to use for speaker covers instead of "grill cloth"... It's tough you can see light through it so it should pass sound well. And it won't cost me an arm & a leg. Plus there are some cool patterns that are different that the same ole, same ole. Members Instrospection Posted March 12, 2011 Members Share Posted March 12, 2011 I can tell you that re-Tolexing a head/ cab is something that i'd probably let someone else do, even though I can do it myself. The glue smell is atrocious.....make sure that you have more than enough ventilation.
