I was doing a set-up on my Dot and the G string was a bit sharp (just needed a touch more adjustment to be intonated) so I was nearing the end of the travel of the saddle (towards the stop-piece) when the screw started coming out of the saddle (near the pickup, rather than moving it back.....is it unthreading itself because it is broken? Or is there something I can do to rethread or whatever ?...I am not a luthier by any stretch of the imagination lol. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I figured out that the part on the saddle screw that holds it in place broke off....it is still under warranty so I took it to have a new one installed. thanks guys.
