Members SnorkelMonkey
I don't own a VCR, DVD player, Microwave, cordless phone, air conditioner, more than one TV, clothes dryer, cable TV, coffee maker or half the {censored} on that list.Does that make me poor? It depends if you're doing it by choice or out of necessity?
Members driverhasabomb
$20 an hour works out to 40 grand a year, before taxes, if you're working a full 40 hours. That's pretty decent if you're just a dude living in an apartment and buying music gear. If you're supporting a family you're not doing so hot. If you don't have health insurance you're likely one accident/illness away from catastrophic bankruptcy. Completely true and $40k is getting much harder to come by for people without 10+ years of experience in a field.
