Members AlexStec
I got a Boss DD2 for the equivalent of 25$ !It's on the way.I can't wait to hear the "warm" sound of the large chip.As I understood, it is the exact same as the first version of the DD3.I'll comment on the sound later. Members gambit
i'd be interested to hear how it actually does sound compared to a DD-
Members AlexStec
To see how it compares to a DD3, check the DD2 and DD3 articles on bossarea. There were different versions of the DD3.The first one is basically a rebadged DD2.That is the one everyone's after. Members AlexStec
I got it yesterday and just tried it now.If one day effects makers find a way to sell guitarists some so called relic pedals, as they have done with guitars, this one will be a pretty good model. It must have been stored in a trash can for awhile.I cleaned it up and it's okay. But before that I plugged a Tele in.It is actually very good sounding.Clean but warm.It doesn't sound mechanical like some digital delays do, nor does it sound muddy like some analog do.I should find a place for it on my board. Members onyxrhino
cool, now you just need to pay Pete Cornish $800 to put it in a big shiny box for you.

I've seen a side to side shootout of the DD2 and Cornish on Youtube. The Cornish sounds nice. But I'd rather collect delay pedals for the same price. By the way i like your avatar. The name of my band used to be Man Ray.There's a very interesting belgian band called Dead Man Ray.

Cool. I've always liked Man Ray. The whole 1920s surrealism/dadaism era just seems like a very fun time for art.

You should read Man Ray's autobiography, SELF PORTRAIT, if you can find it.Great document about the man, as well as the dada and surrealist groups.
