Members crohny
Any of you fools lazy like me and decided to use crimp connectors in your cabs? If so where did you get them and what size?

Members fly135
I imagine that Harbor Freight or an auto parts store will have them.
Members dparr
I think that 1/4 inch is pretty much a standard for speakers. Radio Shack should have them.

Thanks for the response. Originally Posted by dparr I think that 1/4 inch is pretty much a standard for speakers.Radio Shack should have them. I have been getting conflicting answers from internet searching. I have read that .187 fits and that 1/4 is too big and I have also seen one site say that 1/4 works. Looks like I will have to get both and wing it.
Members Brown, Charlie
If I remember right .187 worked for my celestions, different brand of speakers might have different size tabs thats why there's conflicting info. Try the .187 first and see if they slip on the tabs.
Members NewRiggins
guilty. 1/4" works fine for just about anything I've needed them for. Bought them at Radio Shack.

Try the .187 first and see if they slip on the tabs. .187 doesn't fit on the WGS or the Celestions I have. So you must have lucked out. Talked to Avatar cabs (that is the type of cab the connectors are in) and they said they use 1/4 but you have to take pliers and kind of bend the spade part in a bit to make it snug. Did that and I had no issues. But the 1/4 I have are a decent amount bigger than the connectors that came in the cab. Weird {censored}. After bending the spade a bit it fits more snuggly than the originals in there.
Members BAXANDALL
Radio Shack is where I used to get them from. They're fine. For some reason I started always soldering them though. Don't know why.
