Members gilwe
If you can't carry a 25lb controller easily there's something wrong with you, no offense. Well, saying a dumb thing like that makes me realize you either have a few backliners for your equipment, use a single keyboard, or at most carry your keyboards from a seller's house to your studio. Members ChristianRock
If it's a dumb thing, then most of us are dumber than you man, because I happen to agree with ThePro's comment as well...I mean, a 7yo can probably carry a 25lb keyboard... Members evildragon
25 lb, that's what, 12.5 kg? Man, that's really not a problem to carry around. Even if you add a 5-10 kg case, it's still not a problem. Protip: ADD CASTER WHEELS ON THE CASE! You're only excused if you have backbone issues. Otherwise, you're just being plain lazy. Either way, get a quality controller, DON'T LOOK AT THE WEIGHT, then add casters to the case. Problem solved.
Members ChristianRock
I think he's messing with us. Doesn't he carry a CP-60 to gigs?
Members eric
The eyes rolling! Wow, wassup? :poke: For the record, I'm no muscle man and I've been carrying a 50 lb+ pro digital piano in a 40 lb+ flight case for the past decade or more. No roadies; haven't had them since the early-mid '90s. The case has wheels. It is not that difficult. I would not compromise on feel to save a few lbs. gilwe, did you investigate my two recommendations?
Members ggm1960
For a couple years I used the M-Audio Keystation 88es for gigging, it's only 17lbs. I used it as the controller for a JV-1080 and later a Fantom XR. The keys are light plastic of course and a little short but the width is OK. Members jmeager
There's plenty of lightweight 88 key controller keyboards out there if you're still looking. It just depends what you're budget is...? The PCX3 is great but comes in at

Members evildragon
Sorry, but PC3x is a great controller with superb MIDI specs. Of course, the feel of keybed is subjective, but overall it's thought of as a great feeling keybed.
