Members A.P. Ryder
Anyone ever tune their guitar to one note?I'm a big James Blood Ulmer fan, and he tunes his strings to D with the top string at E. I tried it myself and got some good droney results.Lou Reed's "Ostrich Tuning" from the early VU albums is also a big influence. I think the Ostrich tuning was all Ds. I read some people also tune to B.Anyone else ever try this?
Members macadood
my 12 string has a pair of strings for each note and 4 e strings sounds nice and droney and gives it a nice chorusy effect. i dig.
